Jose Perez

Jose Perez is the Founder and Director of Talent Divers, a boutique IT executive search and specialist tech recruitment firm based in Sydney and working with clients across Australia.

Before recruiting, he spent more than 20 years leading enterprise technology teams. That includes CIO and CITO roles at InvoCare, HammondCare and Inghams Group, and earlier IT Director roles across Asia Pacific at Energizer, 21st Century Fox and Clorox. He started in hands-on IT support and worked up into the C-suite, so he has sat on both sides of the hiring table.

That background shapes how he works now. He cares less about keyword matches and more about whether someone can lead under pressure, explain trade-offs to a non-technical board, and deliver when the roadmap gets messy. He founded Talent Divers in 2024 to bring that judgement into tech hiring, not to run another CV factory.

Today he works with CEOs, CFOs and Heads of People who want a straight view before they brief a search, and with IT leaders who need a permanent or interim hire that will actually hold.
